3. The Arunachal government wants the CBI to investigate all public service exams since 2014.
The leak of the assistant engineer (civil) exam question paper has shook Arunachal Pradesh.
The Arunachal Pradesh government has decided to request that the Central Bureau of Investigation investigate all Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) examinations conducted since 2014 for possible irregularities.
On October 31, a high-level team led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu met with representatives of two influential student organisations, the All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union and the All Nyishi Students' Union.
Since August 28, when a candidate for the post of assistant engineer (civil) lodged a complaint at the Itanagar police station, claiming that the question paper for the APPSC examination held on August 26 and 27 had been leaked, the State government has been under pressure.
The two student organisations had demanded that the APPSC be overhauled and that the officials involved in the'scam' of question paper leaks be fired immediately. They had also demanded an investigation into all of the exams.
"Our government is seriously moving forward in cleansing the system to ensure fool-proof exams for government job recruitment," Mr. Khandu said, adding that the CBI would be asked to investigate all APPSC-conducted exams since 2014. The meeting between the Chief Minister's team and the leaders of the two student unions coincided with the request of candidates who took the APPSC exams in 2017 to reopen their cases.

In connection with the case, police arrested more than ten people, including government officials.
