The fourth leads (Logistics is Across Different States) 2022 report has been released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Andhra Pradesh, Assam, and Gujarat have been placed in the Logistics Index Chart 2022 achievers category. Other states and union territories in the 'achievers' category include Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. In the 'Aspire' category are Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Ladakh, Nagaland, Jammu and Kashmir, and Arunachal Pradesh. Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Puducherry, Sikkim, and Tripura are among the fastest growing states. In 2018, the first logistics report was published. This index measures the efficiency of logistics services in India. The index's primary goal is to improve state logistics performance, which is required to boost trade and reduce transaction costs. Shippers, terminal infrastructure service providers, logistics service providers, and other key points were evaluated in the leads survey. The report ranks the states based on their logistics ecosystem. Gujarat topped the list in both 2018 and 2019.

The third world Kuchipudi dance festival began on October 14 in Vijayawada.


It is a three-day dance festival commemorating the 93rd birth anniversary of renowned Kuchipudi dancer Vempati China Satyam. The Department of Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Kuchipudi Kala Akademi, and Jai Ho Bhartiyam are organising it. This dance festival will feature approximately 3000 Kuchipudi artists from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Every day, Kuchipudi dance students will perform 'Maha Vrinda Natyam' (a grand performance). China Satyam will choreograph a dance for 1000 students to perform on Nitya. During the celebration, Bala kondala Rao will receive the Dr. Vempati China Satyam Life Time Achievement Award, and Vanja Uday will receive the Kumari Lanka Annapurna Devi Life Time Achievement Award. Paddja Reddy will receive the Dr. Shobha Naidu Lifetime Achievement Award, while Shrikant Raghupatruni will receive the Vempati Venkata Seva Award.

Kuchipudi is one of India's eight classical dance forms. It is the most widely practiced traditional dance form in South India, and it is thought to have originated in Andhra Pradesh. The Natyashastra is the ancient text with 21 roots.

Five Indian universities are among the top 500 in the world. IISc has been assigned to the 251-300 range. The full list of the top ten Indian universities is provided below.

In total, 22 Indian universities were ranked below 800, with three of them being first-time entrants. DTU, Graphic Era University, IIT Indore, IIIT Delhi, Jamia Hamdard University, JNU, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, and KIIT University have also been classified as 601-800 institutions.

Times Higher Education World Rankings 2023:

Globally, the University of Oxford retained first place for the seventh year in a row, while the University of Cambridge jumped to joint third place from joint fifth last year. With 177 institutions on the overall ranking list, the United States is the most-represented country.

A total of 1,799 universities from 104 countries and regions are ranked, 137 more than the previous year. The number of US universities represented in the top 100 continues to decline, having peaked at 43 in 2018 and falling to 34 this year.



Nagaland's government has launched the 'Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana.'

Nagaland's Health and Family Welfare Department has launched the Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana. It was implemented concurrently with the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Beneficiary families will receive up to 5 lakh in free health insurance coverage per year. Its primary goal is to provide free and cashless treatment for various diseases to state residents. This will lower the cost of hospitalisation. This will include two types of beneficiaries: state government employees and pensioners, and native and/or permanent residents of the state who are not covered by AB PM-JAY or any other publicly funded insurance scheme. According to the Health Department, it is a step toward achieving Universal Health Coverage and the Nagaland ADG Vision 2030.
