The 7th Ayurveda Day in India and internationally was celebrated on a grand scale on 23 October 2022 with the theme "Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda."

The 7th Ayurveda Day was celebrated on a grand scale both in India and around the world.

This year's Ayurveda Day theme is "Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda," with the goal of spreading the benefits of Ayurveda to the masses and grass-root communities. In keeping with the theme of 2022, several events and activities were held under the three Js: Jan Sandesh, Jan Bhagidari, and Jan Aandolan. The celebration will also include six-week-long events from September 12th to October 23rd, 2022.

Celebration:-

 The main celebration of National Ayurveda Day was held in New Delhi at Vigyan Bhavan. This year, the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) is the nodal agency for driving the Ministry of Ayush's mandate for Ayurveda Day. Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda, Minister of Ayush, Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarabananda Sonowal, Minister of External Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of Ayush and WCD Dr Mahendra Munjpara, and other dignitaries attended the 7th Ayurveda Day celebrations in New Delhi.

Notably:- since 2016, Dhanawantari Jayanti or Dhanteras has been observed as Ayurveda Day to promote the most ancient and well-documented system of medicine, Ayurveda.

Ayurveda Facts:-  Ayurveda is a traditional healthcare system that dates back to Vedic times. It focuses on disease prevention as well as health maintenance. The term "Ayurveda" refers to the "Science of Life," and it is based on biological mechanisms of consciousness, mind, physiology, behaviour, and environment.

Ayurveda defines health as the balance of three biological dashas, Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, as well as seven dhatus, Agni, and a state of pleasure of the soul, mind, and senses. Ayurveda is nothing more than a way of life. Healthy living in therapeutic ways benefits our physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well-being.

History

Rotary International established World Polio Day in 1985 to commemorate the birth of Jonas Salk, the lead medical researcher on the team that developed a polio vaccine. He created the inactivated poliovirus vaccine, which was first used in 1955. Albert Sabin expanded on this to create the oral polio vaccine, which was first used in 1961. Polio vaccines are now widely recommended around the world, particularly for children under the age of five, who are the most vulnerable to infection.

10. Dietrich Mateschitz, the owner of Red Bull Formula One, died at the age of 78.

* Dietrich Mateschitz, the co-founder of the energy drink company Red Bull as well as the founder and owner of the Red Bull Formula One racing team, has died. He was 78. Mateschitz's death was announced by Red Bull racing team officials at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.

Red Bull Racing has won the Formula One constructors' championship in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

Mateschitz was born in Sankt Marein im Mürztal, Styria, Nazi Germany, on May 20, 1944. (now in Austria). Mateschitz and Heinz Kinigadner co-founded the Wings for Life foundation, which supports spinal cord research. To raise funds, the foundation has organised the Wings for Life World Run since 2014. He also founded the World Stunt Awards, an annual fundraiser for his Taurus Foundation, which, according to its website, assists injured stunt performers.
